January 21, 2016. Javier Tebas reached his first one thousand days as head of LaLiga in the United States, in the presentation of the AS newspaper in Miami. Another event on an agenda that continues to grow with new projects and goals to accomplish.
LaLiga reviews in a video the highlights of Javier Tebas' presidency so far, starting with the successful economic control, with the debt reduction of the clubs and the benefits of the joint selling of audiovisual rights, to the global expansion of Laliga with programs like the LFP Word Challenge or the opening of LaLiga's offices worldwide.
Important issues such as the integrity of sport and the fight against football violence, the protection against piracy and the steps taken in innovation and digital strategy, are an important part in the daily work of LaLiga.
The firm commitment to women's football, the boost given to sports federations and the creation of the Ambassadors figure are other achievements made by Javier Tebas since April 2013, who in his 1,001 day is still working to keep LaLiga seated as the best league competition in the world.
