Japan to be the first stop for Atletico de Madrid in the LFP World Challenge Tour

The LFP World Challenge tour featuring Club Atletico de Madrid have two lay-overs scheduled in Asian territory.  The red-and-white team will travel to Japan to face off Sagan Tosu, on the 1st of August, and afterwards will fly to the Chinese city of Shanghai, where the squad will play against Shanghai SIPG, on the 4th of August.

Diego Pablo Simeone's team will play their first game of LaLiga World in the Best Amenity Stadium, with capacity for 24,500 spectators who will enjoy the arrival of the LFP World Challenge tour in Japan. In this match, which will kick off at 19:00 hours, local time (12:00 Spanish time), the red-and-white players will demonstrate the power and quality of LaLiga against one of the most distinguished clubs in Japan.

Atletico de Madrid had already visited the United States (San Francisco), Mexico and Turkey by way of the LFP World Challenge international event last summer. In this pre-season, they will again take the essence of Spanish football and the Spain Brand to another continent in one of the most awaited events of the year.
