Oblak
Tana had scored in the last three games and he was close to opening the score against the league leader. The Canary side started looking for a goal and Oblak was responsible for the score remaining untouched.
Filipe Luis
Juanfran lifted his head and saw Filipe running down the other side. The Brazilian controlled the ball and stroke the ball fiercely to the far post, impossible for Javi Varas. The left back’s quality was a hard blow for the home side.

Illusive draw
The stadium cheered, the home supporters celebrated, the Madrid side mourned, but it was all an optic illusion. Las Palmas’ perfect play, finished by Roque Mesa, hit the side of the net.
Griezmann, again
From the illusion of a draw, to extending the lead. After Roque Mesa’s play, Griezmann gave the away side a bigger advantage in the next play. He had already scored in the first Liga BBVA fixture against UD Las Palmas at El Calderon, and he did so again at Gran Canaria. Two goals by the Frenchman, who has scored for the third consecutive game.

No one can score against the leader
Four consecutive matches have gone by without Atletico conceding in the Liga BBVA. Rayo, Levante, Celta and Las Palmas were unable to celebrate a goal against the Madrid team.
