Granada appoint Jose Gonzalez as new head coach

Granada CF have officially announced the appointment of Jose Gonzalez as their new coach until the end of season. Gonzalez replaces Jose Ramon Sandoval in the hot seat, with the team occupying the last spot in the Liga BBVA league table.

The Cadiz-born coach, whose career spans stints at the helm of Cadiz CF, Albacete B, Cordoba CF and Real Murcia, faces the challenge of dragging the Andalusian side out of the relegation zone and turning the team's performances round with 25 games already played.
