Godin upbeat about Atletico's first game in Australia

Atletico Madrid kicked off another LaLiga World tour this Friday with a 1-0 win over Tottenham Hotspur FC in a hard-fought game in Melbourne which was decided by a goal from Uruguay's Diego Godin.

The scorer of the only goal of the game spoke positively about a match that allowed his team to continue improving their form. "Result aside, we always say that pre-season is about finding some form and getting fit. We've obviously been working hard, but still have a lot of work ahead of us. The team are finding their way and have taken another important step with this win," said Diego Godin.

The Uruguayan and his teammates will conclude their Australian tour with a game against Melbourne Victory on Sunday.
