Giovani suffers a broken finger

On Sunday, Giovani Dos Santos gave Villarreal CF a scare. The Mexican player picked up an injury in the first minutes of the Liga BBVA match against Real Betis Balompié dislocating the metacarpophalangeal joint with a fracture at the base of the distal phalange of his little finger, but the accident did not prevent him from finishing the match.

The good news for Villarreal is that the player may continue to train as normal with a special bandage he is wearing to protect the area. Also, he will be available to Marcelino García for the match against Granada CF in the Madrigal Stadium.
