What's on in Getafe this weekend?
Make the most of being about and about in the Spanish capital to sink your teeth into the 'Omelette Route'. Throughout the weekend, Madrid will be staging the first-ever Jornada Gastronomica de la Tortilla de la Patata (Potato Omelette Festival), which is being run by the triBall neighbourhood's Traders' Association (Asociación de Comerciantes de triBall). Some 25 establishments are participating in this inaugural edition of the event and will be offering their finest versions of this traditional delicacy, which you'll be able to wash down with some draft or craft beer, wine or vermouth – all for just €2.50-4.50.
