The Getafe midfielders played very well controlling the pace of the game and ensuring that most of the match was played in the visitors' half, prompting their own forwards while cutting out Depor's attempts at counter-attacks.

Getafe were unlucky not to take the three points in their final game of 2015 after creating by far the clearer chances. In total they had 15 shots, but their lack of precision and the rival keeper’s great performance denied them.

The Deportivo keeper ended the game with five amazing saves in order to keep a clean sheet, saving his team during Getafe’s best minutes.

The Galician striker had a clear one-on-one to continue his good run of form in front of goal but he missed out on the chance to score for an eighth game in a row when he fired wide of the post.
