Getafe CF and Elche CF cross paths on Saturday on matchday 11 of the Liga BBVA. The Azulones, who are coming off the back of a 1-2 win over RC Deportivo and have picked up ten of the last 15 points on offer, look to keep moving up towards the European spots. They will face an Elche who received an important morale boost from their win over RCD Espanyol (2-1) and will be looking to maintain that form in the Coliseum Alfonso Pérez.

Team news

Getafe will be without Juan Valera and Álvaro Vázquez, both of whom are injured, and the suspended Alexis Ruano. For the Franquiverdes, Manu Herrera will be unavailable due to injury, while Domingo Cisma and Garry Rodrigues will miss the game through suspension.

Views from the dugout

"My idea is to stick with the football that defines us and that I like my teams to play. An attractive game means that the fans are behind the team and that is what we want, that our people support us and spur us on", stated Cosmin Contra, the Madrid side's manager.

His counterpart in the Elche dugout, Fran Escribá, praised his opponents: "It will be a competitive match. Getafe are on form. They have a good counter, but they also know how to build an attack".
