Gaizka Garitano's starting eleven

After a hugely encouraging start to the season, SD Eibar have impressed everyone in the Liga BBVA. Their last victory against UD Almería (5-2) left them in ninth position with 19 points. This display of football and abundance of goals is the work of Gaizka Garitano's usual suspects. Here, "LFP.es, in-depth" presents the most probable starting line-up for the Armeros, who face Sevilla FC, a hard nut to crack.

Xabi Irureta (goalkeeper)
Minutes: 100%. Goals conceded: 21.
His superb reflexes, impressive agility and powerful goal kicks have earned him the full confidence of Gaizka Garitano. Also, at 28 years of age, he is one of the elder statesmen of the side, where he has been playing since 2009. This season, the Basque keeper has played a total of 1,260 minutes and has kept a total of 4 clean sheets.

Eneko Bóveda (right-back)
Passes: 363. Ball recoveries: 44.
The right-back was one of the architects of the Armeros' historic promotion to the Liga BBVA. His reliability and versatility in defence have allowed him to become one of the key members of the team. He learned his trade in the lower ranks of Athletic Club and made his first-team debut in 2009.

Raúl Albentosa (centre-back)
Minutes: 1,260. Ball recoveries: 43.
Together with his teammate Xabi Irureta, the half-back from Valencia has played every minute this season. Raúl Albentosa has great physical presence and is excellent in the air, one of his greatest strengths, although he is also very comfortable with the ball at his feet. He has the best record in the Armeros' rear-guard with 435 passes and 43 balls recovered.

Raúl Navas (centre-back)
Matches played: 11. Goals: 1.
Navas is now in his third season at Eibar, where he has become one of the key defenders in the Basque outfit's new venture in the Liga BBVA. The player, who is on loan from Real Sociedad, was already familiar with the Spanish topflight after a debut with Valladolid CF in the 2009/10 season.

Abraham (left-back)
Minutes: 827. Ball recoveries: 33.
He was signed after an excellent season with R. Zaragoza and has become one of the strongest alternatives for Eibar. Being a left-back means that he competes with Manuel Castellano ‘Lillo’, to whom Garitano also gives a lot of minutes.

Jon Errasti (midfield)
Starts: 10. Ball recoveries: 51.
Having learned his trade in the lower ranks of Real Sociedad, Errasti has great physical ability and is another of the regular starters in the Basque team. Despite the fact that Gaizka Garitano has opted to try out Derek Boateng in recent games, Errasti could return to the team sheet in the Ramón Sánchez-Pizjuán.

Dani García (midfield)
Starts: 14. Minutes: 1,238.
He arrived in the 2013-14 season and was soon a shoo-in for the starting eleven. He has started every game, pulling the strings for Eibar from the centre of the pitch. His vast potential is a result of his time in the lower ranks of the Txuri-urdin and Getafe CF.

Ander Capa (right wing)
Matches played: 13. Passes: 186.
His pace, skills and ability to beat a man have caught the eye of the big clubs of Basque football. A native of Portugalete and a product of the Athletic Club academy, Ander Capa also has a powerful shot, from both in and outside of the box.

Saúl Berjón (left wing)
Starts: 11. Goals: 2.
The Asturian is enormously versatile and can play as both a midfielder and a striker. He has scored two goals so far this season and one of his greatest strengths is his ability to find space in the six-yard box. He scored against Almería in their last game and Gaizka Garitano will call him up again if he recovers from a niggle in his left leg.

Mikel Arruabarrena (attacking midfielder)
Goals: 4. Assists: 2.
Eibar's top goal-scorer. At 31 years of age, he continues to strike fear into defenders, as there is little they can do when he is on target. He has found the net four times this season, earning the full confidence of his manager.

Federico Piovaccari (striker)
Goals: 3. Matches played: 9.
He triggered the goal-fest against Almería so it is likely that Garitano will start him again against Sevilla FC. But his teammate Manu Del Moral, another regular in the position, will not make it easy for him and will be fighting for a space in the starting eleven on Saturday.
