- CD Numamcia moved to the new Los Pajaritos stadium in January 1999 and are celebrating its 20th anniversary this year.
- The town of Soria in northern Spain is situated over 1,000 metres above sea level and the weather is notoriously cold in winter. In 2019, Numancia became only the second in Spain, after the Santiago Bernabeu, to install a heating system for fans throughout the stands.
- Los Pajaritos holds over 8,700 spectators.
- The club’s four top-flight seasons have all been played in the new Los Pajaritos (1999/2000, 2000/2001, 2004/2005, and 2008/2009).
- Los Pajaritos was the stadium where Pep Guardiola suffered his first ever LaLiga defeat, going down 1-0 on his debut as FC Barcelona coach on 31 August 2008.
