The iconic Old Trafford hosted a charity event organized by UNICEF where David Beckham, Phil Neville, member of the coaching staff of Valencia CF, and some former players from LaLiga like Fernando Hierro, Michael Owen, Clarence Seedorf and Ronaldinho were also stars.
Sir Alex Ferguson and Carlo Ancelotti, former Real Madrid manager, were on the bench and put emotion to a match in which LaLiga Ambassadors shone especially. In the end, it was the British-Irish combined who took victory (3-1) with goals from Paul Scholes and Michael Owen, twice.
