The Chinese team secured their place in the final four with a dramatic late win over America de Mexico in their quarter-final on Sunday. Paulinho, one of a clutch of Brazilians in the side along with Robinho, Goulart and Elkesson, netted a 93rd-minute winner to earn Luis Felipe Scolari's side a 2-1 triumph.
The Catalans will be without Brazilian forward Neymar, who has not recovered from injury in time, but they do have have Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez to lead their attack. Barca head into the game as favourites and as the leaders of the Liga BBVA.
The winners will take on Argentina's River Plate in the Club World Cup final in Yokohama on Sunday.
