SÁB 17.10.2015
Sharing of points between SD Eibar and Sevilla FC in Liga BBVA matchday 8 in a match that ended 1-1.
Borja Bastón, Eibar's hitman
The "Armero" team fans don’t say goal, they say Borja Bastón. His figures are frightening. Five goals in eight games; four goals in the last four games. His victims, Levante UD, RC Celta, Las Palmas and Sevilla, so far. Everything, or almost everything that Borja touches is a goal. Saul Berjón took a free-kick from the right side and Borja headed it to the back of the net. So it was his last goal.
Sevilla's defensive weakness
Unai Emery's team have conceded twelve goals in eight games and has only scored seven. One of the problems of the "Hispalense" team in the start of this season has been the ease with which it conceded goals. On this occasion, and in the first half, the best chances came from the Basque team.
First half for Eibar, second for Sevilla
The first 45 minutes were for the "Armero" team. The second act, however, was Sevilla´s. It was noted in the first three minutes. Unai Emery's team reacted thanks to Kevin Gameiro, Banega, Konoplyanka and Koke, who provided a breath of air to the team. After 26 minutes, Gameiro topped with his chest, from the penalty spot, a cross from Iborra. Eibar went down in the second half and gave way to the equalizer.
Gameiro and Borja, leaders of their teams
Both brought danger to the opposing goal. The two were the best of their teams and also were the scorers of the goals.
Sevilla remained winless away
Driven by having defeated FC Barcelona. So it came Seville to Ipurua, and with one goal in mind: the first away win. However, despite the good second half, the team could only get a draw and should wait for the next matchdays to get an away victory.
