CD Numancia 1-1 UE Llagostera
The match remained a stalemate until the 84th minute. Julio Alvarez broke the deadlock for Numancia from the penalty spot and secured a place in club history. The Venezuelan became the club's all-time top scorer. It was quite the fairy tale. Until Natalio popped up, that was. The Llagostera player procured a point for his team two minutes into injury time.
Athletic Club B 1-1 CD Mirandes
The first half ended goalless, leaving all of the action until after the interval – the first goal right after the restart and another in the dying moments. Aridane fired home a great cross by Alain Oyarzun at the far post on 48 minutes. Carlos Terrazas' charges thought they had the three points in the bag, but it's never over until the referee blows the final whistle... and he awarded Athletic B a penalty on 91 minutes. Ziganda's goal machine, Ager Aketxe, converted from the spot and salvaged a point.
Elche CF 2-0 CD Lugo
Sergio Leon and Jonatan Cristaldo ensured the three points remained at the Martinez Valero. Leon, the Liga Adelante's top scorer, gave his side the lead on 40 minutes with a cut-back followed by a venomous shot to open the scoring. Half an hour later, Cristaldo netted the second to seal the win.
Girona FC 1-0 D. Alaves
Pablo Machin's side managed the narrowest of victories. Jaime Mata produced a fine piece of individual play in the 23rd minute before releasing the ball back for Dejan Lekic to prod home. There were no more goals to be had and the three points remained at Montilivi.
R. Valladolid 1-2 R. Zaragoza
The visitors took home three points from the Jose Zorrilla stadium. Lluis Carreras' men twice took the lead. Manu Lanzarote set the hosts on their way with just 10 minutes gone, but Manu del Moral levelled the scores before the break. The final goal came in the 62nd minute, when Pedro tapped in to give Zaragoza a 2-1 away win and send the three points back to the Aragonese capital.
Gimnastic 0-0 R. Oviedo
The game between the division's two surprise packages ended in a goalless draw in which Achille Emana and Borja Valle had their teams' best goalscoring chances. Nastic and Oviedo shared the points in a game of end-to-end action and counter-attacking football which left them both well placed in the race for promotion to the Liga BBVA. Hector Verdes was sent off in time added on after picking up a second yellow card.
SD Huesca 0-2 Cordoba CF
Cordoba, who had not won in their last five games, were back at their best away to Huesca. The visitors sealed the points thanks to goals from their strikers Xisco Jimenez and Florin Andone and rejoined the race for a play-off place. Meanwhile, Huesca dropped into the relegation zone.
SD Ponferradina 1-3 UD Almeria
A vital win for Almeria saw them climb out of the bottom four and claim three away points for the first time in 434 days. Juan Ramirez gave the Andalusians a third-minute lead and Quique Gonzalez doubled their advantage before the break. In the second half, Quique scored his second of the game and David Caiado claimed a consolation goal for the home side.
AD Alcorcon 2-0 CD Leganes
Alcorcon came out on top in the South Madrid derby to convincingly stretch their undefeated home run to 13 straight games. The home side's opening goal came courtesy of Daniel Toribio on 29 minutes. Oscar Plano settled the game with a beautiful goal with just a minute left to play.
CD Tenerife 1-0 Albacete B.
The Canary Islanders continue to dream after another win saw them climb to within three points of sixth place. Nano was once again his team's hero, scoring the only goal of the game in the 67th-minute. The young Tenerife starlet has now notched up 11 goals and is a huge fans' favourite at the Heliodoro Rodriguez Lopez stadium.
RCD Mallorca 1-1 At. Osasuna
Both teams shared a point apiece at the Estadio Iberostar in the final game of Matchday 34. Alfredo Ortuño gave Mallorca a 23rd-minute lead, but Osasuna salvaged a point when Roberto Torres equalised from the penalty spot.
