Espanyol President Joan Collet named director of RFEF

The Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) announced president of RCD Espanyol, Joan Collet, as a member of its Board of Directors on Tuesday.

The Board of Directors is a key organ in the governing of the RFEF, and is responsible for the federation’s business, in addition to assisting the president in his decision-making. Its number of members is decided by the RFEF president, who also arranges when they meet – normally once a month.

With this nomination Joan Collet, who as president already represents Espanyol in the Liga de Fútbol Profesional (LFP), will from now on also be able to participate as a director in the principal organisation of Spanish football.
