Fans will be able to follow the match between FC Barcelona and Real Madrid CF live across the whole world, and major international channels have requested the customisation of the signal distributed by MEDIAPRO. Furthermore, it will be Swedish channel TV4's first signal customisation from the Camp Nou in a game between the two Liga BBVA teams, to offer its subscribers all the details and unprecedented images before, during and after the match.
Players, ex-pros, coaches and illustrious figures from the world of sport will also be at the Camp Nou to provide comment and analysis for a range of operators: Éric Abidal, Ludovic Giuly, Sonny Anderson and Luis Fernández (beIN Sports France), Patrick M’Boma (Canal+ Africa), Óscar García, Victor Sánchez del Amo and Chad Johnson (beIN Sports USA), Takeshi Okada (Wowow TV, Japan) and Rafał Wolski (Canal+ Poland).
In total, as many as 15 commentary positions have been requested by television channels from across the world to broadcast Barça-Madrid live.
300 professionals, ten mobile units and more than 30 cameras
MEDIAPRO will carry out a deployment that reflects the scale of a sporting event that has stimulated such a high degree of interest. To offer the best transmission both on a domestic and international level, more than 300 professionals (producers, directors, technicians…), ten mobile units and in excess of 30 cameras will be in operation at the Camp Nou.
Three Super Slow Motion cameras will generate the most spectacular replays as part of an enhanced broadcast made possible by two goal-line cameras to confirm whether the ball has crossed the line, a Beauty camera to deliver overhead stadium shots, a Tracking shot for lateral movements and a high-speed Pole Mini Cam behind one of the goals to capture new, difficult-to-achieve angles and bring them to fans from around the world.
A different perspective
Ahead of this game, MEDIAPRO has produced the special feature 'Clásico, pese a todo' ('Clásico, despite everything') with exclusive, never-before-seen images of the last Madrid-Barça. Channels such as SKY Brasil, ESPN STAR (Asia), Canal+ Poland, TV4 (Sweden), NTV (Russia), M-Net (South Africa), Belgacom (Belgium), SKY Mexico and beIN Sports USA have had the opportunity to air the programme to viewers all over the world.
The feature attempts to show how this match is capable of bringing the activities of millions of people to a standstill. It provides a different take on the last Madrid-Barça dedicated to all the lovers of the game who were unable to experience the clash in ideal circumstances, but still managed to be a part of this wonderful moment in world football.
