Eibar defend first place against Sabadell

Eibar takes on Sabadell this Saturday at 6pm for matchday 26 of the Liga Adelante.

The Basques, who sit on top of the table with 42 points, will be looking to prolong their best streak of form this season, their latest victory saw them beat Córdoba 2-0 away from home, a result that meant the club climbed into first place during the second half of the season for only the second time in its history. The only absence from Gaizka Garitano’s squad is that of Diego Rivas in the centre of midfield.

Sabadell will be trying to reacquaint themselves with winning ways, having gone four games without a single victory. Miquel Olmo’s team has lost two of its last three Liga Adelante matches. Olmo will be missing the likes of Raúl Goni, Víctor Espasardín, Pablo Ruiz and Antonio Hidalgo through injury, as well as Martí Crespí and Moha due to suspensions.
