Diego Conde wins Save of the Month for August

Diego Conde has recieved the award for Best Save of the Month in August. The Villarreal CF goalkeeper was one of the players who was key in his side's victory over Sevilla FC with a double save that ensured his team took all three points. 

With the scores locked at 1-1 at the Sánchez Pizjuán, Diego Conde appeared with a stunning double-save first to keep out Saúl and later Isaac Romero to save the 'Groguets'. The Madrid-born keeper was named MVP in a stunning performance. 

Villarreal CF's number 13 wins the LALIGA EA SPORTS award for the first time after narrowly beating Álex Padilla (Athletic Club) and Antonio Sivera (Deportivo Alavés).
