• David Simón made the right-back slot his own in a Canarian side that aspired to everything. His pace, forward running and good defensive work allowed the Canarian to play 41 games in the Liga Adelante with the pio-pios, playing a total of 3,492 minutes in his first year as a professional.

• David Simón didn’t only offer things defensively to Las Palmas. The full-back from Gran Canaria scored two goals in the Liga Adelante and gave eight assists, bettering the numbers from other starters like Alberto Lora (R.Sporting), Cifuentes (Girona FC) and Molinero (R.Betis). Moreover, only Lora (1,541) gave more passes than David Simón (1,489) among the right-backs in the Liga Adelante.

• Over the course of the season, David Simón managed to recover the ball 122 times and clear the danger from his area 99 times. In personal duels he was also frugal, managing to win 58% of one-to-one duels and 45% of his aerial duels.
