Cristiano Ronaldo continues enlarging his legend. After becoming the top scorer in the history of Real Madrid in Liga BBVA, scoring five goals against RCD Espanyol, the Portuguese star continues to make history.
His latest milestone came on Wednesday in the group stage match of the UEFA Champions League against Malmö FF, in which the Portuguese scored two goals and thus totaled 500 goals in his professional career. On top of that, Ronaldo equaled Raul Gonzalez´s record as top scorer in the history of the White club with 323 goals.
230 goals in Liga BBVA
Of his 500 goals, 230 of them came in Liga BBVA. It was in 2009/10 when the Portuguese footballer landed on the best championship of the world, scoring his first goal on his debut match against RC Deportivo. That August 29, 2009 began his unstoppable rise.
In total, Cristiano Ronaldo has managed to score two goals in the same game 63 times, three goals on 28 occasions, four goals five times and five goals in the same clash twice. His favorite rivals are Sevilla FC, against who has scored 19 goals in Liga BBVA, and Getafe CF, to who has scored 18. Further back, with 14, are the Athletic Club and Malaga CF.
