Liga BBVA´s 2015/16 season did not start as well as Getafe would wish at the Coliseum Alfonso Pérez. A 1-2 defeat against Granada CF acted like a cold shower for the "Azulón" fans, but that game served as a turning point.
Since then, Getafe has proved to be very compact and reliable at home. Its performance in the last three home games has been impeccable, and this is borne out by its numbers: three wins worth nine points, eight goals scored and none conceded. Málaga CF (1-0), Levante (3-0) and Las Palmas (4-0) were the teams who yielded against the team from Getafe.
Šćepović, best "Gladiator" at the Coliseum
Stefan Šćepović, scorer of 23 goals for R. Sporting in the 2013/14 Liga Adelante, landed this summer at the Madrid's team in order to give many afternoons of glory to Getafe. With three goals, all at the Coliseum, the Serbian striker is living up to expectations and has been one of the main architects of the streak.
Alvaro Vazquez, with two goals, Emi Buendia, Victor Rodriguez and Pablo Sarabia are the other players who have already tasted the sweetness of scoring at home this season. After having set a target, "go back to being big", Getafe is placed just three points behind the European places since its stadium has become a fortress.
