PSG 4-0 FC Barcelona
PSG comprehensively defeated Barcelona at the Parc des Princes on Tuesday evening, leaving Luis Enrique’s side with it all to do in the second leg in a fortnight’s time. Unai Emery’s side were quick out of the blocks and took the lead after 19 minutes when Angel Di Maria beat the wall with a well-taken free kick from the edge of the box. Not content to sit back, PSG went close through Julian Draxler and Adrien Rabiot before Draxler doubled their lead on the half-hour mark, beating compatriot Marc-Andre ter Stegen low down to his right after being played in Marco Verratti.
The hosts began the second half as they ended the first and went 3-0 up ten minutes after the restart as Di Maria worked his way to the edge of the box before curling a shot past the outstretched hands of ter Stegen. Edinson Cavani rounded off the game with a fourth eighteen minutes from time, beating the keeper at the near post with a powerful right-footed drive.
