Sevilla FC have ensured the ongoing services of their starting goalkeeper, the Portuguese player Beto, for the next two seasons, with the option of an additional season. Sevilla announced the news through their website on Monday.
Beto, who has played 18 La Liga games this season, all in the starting line-up was delighted after signing his new contract. "I am very happy. I was hopeful and enthusiastic about continuing to work with a club that has given me a lot. It is a very happy day for me and my family", he stated.
Since his arrival in the Andalusian capital during the Winter transfer market in 2013, the Portuguese goalkeeper has won the UEFA Europa League and played in 65 Liga BBVA for the side managed by Unai Emery.
