Betis continue winning

Real Betis continue with their promotion push to Liga BBVA. The Andalusians won 1-2 over Alavés at the Mendizorroza in matchday 35 of Liga Adelante with goals from Jorge Molina and Rubén Castro. Toti scored for the home side.

Alavés started the game the better, showing from the off that they wanted to win. After two minute, Manu García had the first chance. The side from Vitoria had control of the game and looked to test out Antonio Adán, however it was the side from Seville who scored with their first effort. Jorde Molina beat Iñaki Goitia to put them ahead. After the goal, the visitors improved, however Alavés continued to dominate and had chances through Manu García and Manu Barreiro.

After the break, the Vitoria outfit continued to dominate, but Betis created the better chances. Jorge Molina again went close, and shortly after, in the 72nd minute, Rubén Castro made it 0-2 with a sumptuous free-kick. Alavés did not give up, and they halved the deficit shortly after as Toti followed in a rebound from an Adán save. The goal gave them hope, however Barreiro saw an effort cannon back off the bar, and Adán denied them as the scoreline remained 1-2 and the points went back down south.
