Luis Enrique made changes in the XI

Sandro and Munir were in the starting lineup, leaving Luis Suárez and Iniesta on Barca´s bench. The coach´s intention was clear: to give more freedom to Lionel Messi with Neymar on the left, Munir on the right and Sandro as center forward.

Touch, touch and touch. The first 45 minutes were stained of "Azulgrana". The attack by the Catalan team was constant near the rival´s area but lacked clarity, with Leo Messi totally marked by the defense.

Good approach by the "Levantinos"

The right approach of Levante in the first half gave result, with the match goalless at the break. The away team defense, formed by five men, knew how to fill the spaces and cut the ball in every Barcelona´s arrival to its area.

Barca´s effectiveness

Barcelona only needed 16 minutes to score the three goals that would give victory. Marc Bartra scored the first and, five minutes later, Neymar put the 2-0 on the scoreboard. The third was scored by Leo Messi, scoring his first penalty in the 2015/16 Liga BBVA. The Argentinian could extend the lead but missed another penalty in the 75th minute.

Messi continues adding

Casadesus pulled one back, scoring the first of Levante, but would not be the final result, as Lionel Messi scored Barcelona's four in the 89th minute to kill the game. So it was the third goal of the Argentine star in Liga BBVA.
