Bate Borisov 0-2 FC Barcelona
Two goals from Ivan Rakitic were enough for FC Barcelona, which got a deserved victory at the Borisov Arena. The "Azulgranas" had the best chances in the first half but the lack of accuracy sent them to the half time break with the opening scoring.

However, the fantastic performance of the Brazilian Neymar, who is having a great week after his four goals in Liga BBVA against Rayo Vallecano, unbalanced the clash to the Catalan side. Rakitic opened the scoring with a powerful shot to the top corner after a perfect assist by the Brazilian and, minutes later, Neymar showed up again with a pass to the Croatian midfielder, who beat the goalie with a nice chip to close the match.
Valencia 2-1 KAA Gent
For its part, Valencia reaped a hard-fought victory against KAA Gent at Mestalla, which allows them to get its second consecutive victory in the tournament. After a good start, the Algerian Feghouli took the lead for Nuno’s team after a great assist by Joao Cancelo.

However, the Belgian side knew how to start over from the blow and Foket put the draw on the scoreboard with a great shot that surprised Jaume Domenech. Equality between the two teams was broken by José Luis Gayá. The full back took a long pass that had crashed into the crossbar to score the win and get three points for Valencia.
