The Basques profited the opening goal by Iñaki Williams to cool down the options for a comeback of the Castellón team and secured the Cup tie. Marcelino Garcia Toral's men insisted in the search of a goal that would increase their chances of achieving the pass, but they couldn’t dismantle the defensive order of the visitors and eventually gave way.
