“We are delighted to have Andres Iniesta as one of ouir LaLiga Icons,” LaLiga president Javier Tebas said. “He's a player who inspires millions of people and he is a magnificent representative for LaLiga at a golbal level."
The LaLiga Icons initiative is designed to develop the LaLiga brand through a strategy built on digital campaigns, maximizing LaLiga content and making the most of the synergies offered on social networks, that allow LaLiga to connect with their fans around the globe.
Fernando Sanz, director of International Institutional Relations and the LaLiga Ambassadors project, Legendas of LaLiga and Samuel Eto’o, an old teammates of Iniesta's from FC Barcelona and a current LaLiga Ambassador himself, attended the gala presentation that took place in the Japanese capital.
