Match Facts:

Granada CF (17th, 29 pts):

A dramatic Peñaranda goal in the closing stages clinched Granada a crucial point last time out against Athletic Club and boosted their survival chances.

Peñaranda is undoubtedly the man of the moment, having already shown several glimpses of his natural talent. The 18-year-old's return of five goals makes him the club's second-joint top goalscorer alongside Isaac Success. The teenager may well hold the key to unlocking the visitors' defence in this key clash on Friday evening.

Malaga CF (8th, 40 pts):

- The club did not make a good start to the season, but have since enjoyed a reversal of fortune and now find themselves in a rather positive position. Malaga, who currently sit eighth with 40 points, are trying to secure European football for next season. It is a tough ask, but their recent run of four games unbeaten is certainly reason for optimism.

- Charles, Juanpi and Cop have all been among the goals throughout the campaign, grabbing 17 of the club's 30 between them. The midfielder and two forwards dictate the rhythm of Javi Gracia's side's attack. Charles will miss out on this occasion through suspension, leaving his two teammates to work their magic in the final third.

Don't leave Granada without... visiting the Mirador de San Nicolas. This special vantage point offers beautiful panoramic views of the city and the area is also brimming with things to do that will liven up your stay.
