Amadeo Salvo and the LFP representatives in the Middle East appear on Al Jazeera Sports

The president of Valencia CF, Amadeo Salvo, and the director general of the Liga de Fútbol Profesional in the Middle East, Fernando Sanz, visited the headquarters of Al Jazeera Sports in Doha on Monday. This meeting was part of the strategic communication plan for 'GLOVAL', designed to promote the Valencia project on a global stage.

Amadeo Salvo was interviewed live on the channel’s most viewed show, 'Al Jazeera Sport News'. The Valencia president declared that international expansion is key to ensuring the competitiveness of the LFP and highlighted the popularity of his club in the Middle East.

Prior to the interview, the Valencia president met with Hassan Al Thawadi, the chief executive of the Qatari World Cup organising committee, with the latter expressing his deep admiration for the Spanish league. Salvo spoke of the "excellent opportunity and great responsibility of organising" the competition which will take place in 2022.
