Getafe CF reaped a valuable win against Levante UD, a direct rival, after the 3-0 achieved in Liga BBVA matchday 6. Review the five key moments of the match.
1. Lafita
The midfielder was the most active player of Getafe during the first half. After a few minutes of shyness between the teams, Angel Lafita had a double chance that inspired the clash. In the second half, Lafita, again, and two shoots from Alvaro Medrán and Pablo Sarabia came close to open the scoring.
2. Trujillo's substitution
Levante was forced to make a change prematurely because of a nasty blow suffered by Angel Trujillo in his nose. Lucas Alcaraz reassembled the team and reinforced the defense with the entry of Ivan Lopez.
3. Great save by Rubén before the break
The Madrid team came close to open the scoreboard just before the break with a header from Juan Rodriguez after a Pedro Leon pass, but Ruben Martinez's hands flew in the perfect moment, stopping a shoot that was about to change course of the match.
4. Alvaro Vazquez's lever
Getafe searched for the goal insistently with no luck until the striker from Barcelona the entered on the field. Six minutes were enough for Alvaro Vazquez to get into the game, to receive a ball and put with a header the winning goal for his team.
5. Emi also fulfilled
The changes worked perfectly for Fran Escribá. And, at the edge of the final whistle, after replacing Stefan Šćepović, Emiliano Buendia, the 18-year-old striker, made it 2-0 and sealed the match. In addition, Alvaro Vazquez scored again to reassure the team and collect the three points.
