Almería and Valencia drew 2-2 to close out the Liga BBVA matchday 30 action.
The away side got off to a dream start when they took a surprise lead with just seven seconds on the clock. Seydou Keita scored the goal, one of the fastest in the history of the competition, after pouncing on a Marco Torsiglieri back pass. The early goal noticeably affected Almería, who then went on to concede a second in the 34th minute, despite the best efforts of Esteban Suárez and the defence. A great pass from Sofiane Feghouli over the top found Eduardo Vargas, who finished off the chance to double Los Che's lead.
The second half started frenetically when Almería managed to pull two goals back in quick succession. Óscar Díaz, in the 53', and Miguel Ángel Corona, just two minutes later, sent the Estadio de los Juegos Mediterráneos into raptures. Juan Antonio Pizzi's men tried to retake the lead in the final few minutes, but Esteban was solid between the sticks to prevent a powerful Dani Parejo effort from going in.
