Alfonso Trocóniz, the new president at Alavés

Alfonso Fernández de Trocóniz, previously the Secretary of the Board of Directors, has been named as the replacement for Avelino Fernández de Quincoces as President of Deportivo Alavés. The decision was made during a meeting held by the Basque club's Board of Directors on the 27th of September, 2013.

"Deportivo Alavés, S.A.D. would like to sincerely thank Mr Avelino Fernández de Quincoces for his work and dedication during his time as the Club's President, having made decisive contributions to the stabilisation and standardisation of the Club", said a statement from the team.
