Borja Baston opens the score
The Basque derby couldn’t have started better. The high intensity that Eibar usually impose at the beginning of their matches turned out well again for Jose Luis Mendilibar’s men. After a first warning, Borja Baton took advantage of a cross by Sergi Enrich to get there before the defence and beat Rulli in the third minute.
Aguirretxe responds
The blow incited Real Sociedad, that hadn’t got into rhythm yet. With the disadvantage on the score, Eusebio’s men took control and went in search of a draw, that didn’t take long.
