Again, a point apiece for Getafe and Elche

A goalless affair, and an even contest, between Getafe CF and Elche CF. It leaves Getafe on 14 points, and Elche on 6.

Elche started strongest, with a goalscoring opportunity in just the second minute; Cristian Herrera got away from several Getafe defenders and laid the ball off for Víctor Rodríguez, whose shot stung the palms of Vicente Guaita. Getafe gradually came into the game, though without ever looking much like scoring.

In the second half, Elche again showed good intensity, with chances for Jonathas de Jesús, and then for Cristian Herrera who had a one-on-one with the keeper but failed to make it count. As in the first 45, the home side managed to contain Fran Escribá's team, and were themselves soon in the ascendancy. Neither side could find a breakthrough, however, and it ended 0-0.
