Match Facts:
Deportivo (14th, 38 pts):
- The Galicians salvaged a point at the Sanchez-Pizjuan at the weekend. Sevilla FC went ahead through Vicente Iborra, but Oriol Riera notched an equaliser late on.
- Although they will be wary of a potential backlash from wounded league leaders Barça, Victor's men fared well in the reverse fixture, coming away from the Camp Nou with a 2-2 draw.
Barcelona (1st, 76 pts):
- The Azulgranas sorely need to rediscover their mojo in the Liga BBVA. They have only mustered a single point from their last four league matches, in the 2-2 stalemate away to Villarreal CF.
- Keeping hold of top spot is Luis Enrique's side's priority right now. A victory, no matter how convincing or by what margin, would be enough to stay in pole position because of their head-to-head advantage over Atletico Madrid, with whom they are level on points.
