-Rayo Vallecano: Zé Castro, Tito and Javi Guerra (suspended); Cobeño, Ebert, Rat, Amaya and Toño (injured).

Match Facts:

Valencia CF (11th, 23 pts):

- Gary Neville's team come with the boost of having qualified for the quarterfinals of the Copa del Rey. They defeated Granada CF 7-0 on aggregate: 4-0 in Mestalla and 0-3 in Los Cármenes. The aim is to translate those good sensations to Liga BBVA.

- The target is to win in Liga BBVA with Neville. Since the arrival of the new coach, the Valencia team have not won any league match, with a record of three draws and two defeats.

- Valencia's last victory was in the matchday 11 against RC Celta by 1-5, so the team is taking a bad run of eight consecutive games without getting the three points. They hope to make Mestalla into a fortress and give a push to their performance at home.

Rayo Vallecano (19th, 15 pts):

-Rayo was also knocked out of the Copa del Rey against Atlético de Madrid with a 4-1 overall. They drew to one in Vallecas and in the Calderon stadium the Colchoneros won 3-0.

- Paco Jemez's team are also taking a bad streak of eight consecutive games without a win. The Rayistas won their last game against Granada CF at Vallecas (2-1) in matchday 11.

- In the opening matchday of the season, Rayo got a scoreless draw against Valencia at home. This time, the Madrid side want to go one step further and win to stop the bad run of results.
