Osasuna goalkeeper Sergio Herrera has been named the winner of the LALIGA EA SPORTS Save of the Month for January for his outstanding stop against Rayo Vallecano on Matchday 20, a game that ended in a 1-1 draw.

With the score level at 1-1, Isi Palazón unleashed a powerful shot from over 40 meters out, forcing Herrera into a spectacular save. Reacting quickly, he adjusted his position and tipped the ball onto the crossbar, preventing what would have been a stunning goal.
