Oihan Sancet, LALIGA EA SPORTS Player of the Month for February

Oihan Sancet has been chosen as LALIGA EA SPORTS Player of the Month for February, an award presented by LALIGA in conjunction with EA.

The Athletic Club attacking midfielder has scored in his last four games, including a hat-trick against Girona that brings his total to 13 goals in the 2024/25 season. Despite not being a striker, Sancet is the team's top scorer and has acquired a fundamental role in Ernesto Valverde's game.

Oihan Sancet's goals have earned his team points, keeping them in a privileged fourth position in the LALIGA EA SPORTS standings. His goals at the RCDE Stadium and the Benito Villamarín stadium earned away points (both with a final result of 1-1), while he was the undisputed star of the show in the 3-0 win against Girona, where he scored all three goals, and he also left his mark on the scoreline in the last game against Real Valladolid, with a thrashing at San Mamés (7-1).

The Athletic Club player thus wins his first Best Player of the Month award in the current LALIGA EA SPORTS season, beating Mbappé (Real Madrid), Antony (Real Betis), Budimir (Osasuna) and Pedri (FC Barcelona) in the final vote.
