LALIGA remains the world’s premier national football competition, with millions of fans across the globe seeking updates on results, clubs, players, and statistics every day through its various official platforms such as the website and app. This is evidenced by the latest report published by GfK, the official digital audience measurement company in Spain, which ranks LALIGA's digital ecosystem as the fifth largest sports media platform in terms of page views, surpassing 96 million. This places it just behind Spain's top sports outlets, namely Marca, AS and Mundo Deportivo.
The report also analyses average daily audiences from these media outlets, with LALIGA's digital platforms achieving eighth place in the list of those that have the highest average number of unique daily users, with 410,488. This figure is very close to YouTube (436,302), the world’s leading video platform. Additionally, LALIGA's official website and app are 11th in the ranking of monthly unique users, surpassing 2 million, just behind DAZN, one of the leading international sports streaming services.
These figures demonstrate that LALIGA's platforms provide all the information fans and followers of the competition need. From matchday results in LALIGA EA SPORTS and LALIGA HYPERMOTION to updates on women’s football and LALIGA GENUINE, with users able to access detailed content. This includes relevant club statistics like goals and cards, as well as personalised video content, such as Instagram Stories and TikTok-style clips tailored to each user’s preferences.
Moreover, the platforms also host detailed information about LALIGA's institutional activities, organisational structure, and regulations. On the website, visitors can also find information about FUNDACIÓN LALIGA projects, LALIGA BUSINESS SCHOOL, and everything related to sponsorship and audiovisual rights.
In short, LALIGA's digital presence has become a central hub for fans worldwide, offering everything they need to better understand and follow the Spanish competition. With content available in English, LALIGA continues to connect with fans across the globe, making the Spanish competition more accessible than ever.
