Vitoria delights LALIGA EXPERIENCE

Once more, international broadcasters invited by LALIGA had the opportunity to witness firsthand a match from the best league in the world. The featured game saw Deportivo Alaves face off against FC Barcelona, with the Catalans triumphing 3-1. Yet, the experience extended beyond just football. Prior to the match, the guests engaged in a series of entertaining challenges and got to wander the picturesque streets that give the city of Vitoria its charm.

The broadcasters invited to join this latest edition of LALIGA EXPERIENCE included journalists Stefan-Lucian Mirea and Pirvuta Mihail of DIGI Sport Romania, accompanied by the popular TV channel presenter Simona Taranu, plus two winners of ELEVEN Sport Poland’s LALIGA EPICS contest, who were accompanied by journalist Marcin Maciej Gazda. Also tagging along was broadcaster SilkSport Georgia, whose representative, Georgian journalist Aleksandre Kebaze, brought two winners of the LALIGA EPICS contest along with him in a gesture that acknowledged and rewarded the loyalty of its subscribers.

On the first day, the broadcasters’ representatives were given the chance to showcase their streaming skills, with the second day dedicated to visiting Deportivo Alaves. The club proved to be exceptional hosts, treating their guests to a nooks-and-crannies tour of the Ciudad Deportiva Jose Luis Compañon (Ibaia) training ground. There, the invitees seized the chance to take photos, interview players Ianis Hagi and Aleksandar Sedlar and chat with coach Luis García Plaza.

Next on the agenda was an immersive tour of the Mendizorroza Stadium, where guests experienced first-hand what it feels like to be a professional footballer, walking through the players' tunnel onto the field and exploring the home team's dressing room, in the company of Vitoria club legend Víctor Laguardia. The day was rounded off with a dive into the world of basketball, with a guided tour of the Fernando Buesa Arena, capped off by attending the electrifying Euroleague face-off between Baskonia and Maccabi Tel Aviv.

Tourism and gastronomy took centre stage on the third day of LALIGA EXPERIENCE with a guided tour of the most emblematic enclaves of the city. Although it would be in the Plaza de la Virgen Blanca where their knowledge of the region would be truly put to the test with the Typical Basque Challenge.

The fourth day's main event was the eagerly anticipated clash between Deportivo Alaves and FC Barcelona. However, before the game, the LaLiga Experience took a delightful turn into the culinary arts where the VIPs were invited to participate in a show cooking event where they got to display their skills at preparing a selection of regional signature dishes. Having aced the culinary challenge, an electrifying match awaited them. They began by welcoming the players from both teams, followed by observing the warm-up sessions pitch side, before finally settling into prime seats to relish the intense showdown between Deportivo Alaves and FC Barcelona.
