Vitoria & Alaves capture Caribbean & Hungarian hearts through LaLiga Experience

The fourth instalment of the 2021/22 LaLiga Experience certainly didn’t disappoint as it served up a raft of unforgettable moments. The delightful Vitoria, its history, gastronomy and Alaves conquered the hearts of the winner of the #LaLigaUltimateXpert competition run by Caribbean broadcaster SportsMax and the journalists and influencers flying the flag for Hungary’s Spíler TV.

The true essence of Alaves, an outfit with one of the richest traditions and historied pasts amongst the Basque clubs, came to the fore as the LaLiga Experience roadshow pulled into Vitoria. As model hosts, the club offered its guests a warm welcome as the VIPs saw their dreams come true when they got the chance to become the coaches of a team in the best league on the planet for a day.

Visiting the facilities at the Glorioso’s Jose Luis Compañon training complex, meeting members of the women’s side, taking in a first-team training session and even interviewing and putting Alaves skipper Victor Laguardia to the test in the wheel of fortune challenge were just a handful of the fun-filled activities our rookie coaches got up to in this, the latest chapter in the LaLiga Experience tale.

The visitors from the Caribbean and Hungary came away from the weekend with a piece of Vitoria and D. Alaves in their hearts as the Basque club’s endearing nature continues to transcend borders.
