In order to make the most of their last few hours in Adelaide, the Villarreal CF squad had the chance to attend one of the best games of the country's most popular sport: Australian Rules football. The players and coaches enjoyed the footy game, the sport is a mix between football and rugby. It was set up in the XIX century and is only practised professionally on the Oceanic continent. The Adelaide Oval filled its 53,000 seats as it hosted the league leaders, Fremantle FC, and the local side Adelaide Crows were unable to dominate at home, losing by 57 points to 68.
During the half-time break, management personnel, coaches and players from the Castellón side presented the president of the Adelaide Crows, Andrew Fagan with different objects commemorating their visit, and demonstrating the good relationship between the entire Adelaide community and this LFP World Challenge tour.
