Valencia looks to recapture its confidence

Fresh off the back of beating Villarreal 2-0, Getafe now readies itself for the arrival of an under fire Valencia CF team that has lost its last three Liga BBVA encounters. The home side, which has been enjoying a positive run of form of late, has only lost one match in the Coliseum Alfonso Pérez this season.

The Madrid outfit will be looking to further cement its status in the upper end of the table. In his pre-match press conference, coach Luis García said, "we are up there, with the best [teams] and there’s no reason we shouldn’t be". A victory could see Getafe climb into fourth position in the league, although the manager knows it won’t be easy, "we are taking on a Valencia team at its most dangerous".

Valencia, meanwhile, will be hoping to silence its critics and put an end to its recent poor run of results. "Hard work is the only way out of this", the away team’s coach, Miroslav Djukic, affirmed. The Serbian will be without three of his stalwart players, Andrés Guardado, Joao Pereira and Feghouli, who has suffered a muscle contracture.
