UCAM Murcia appoint Francisco Rodriguez Vilchez as manager

UCAM Murcia CF have officially announced the appointment of Francisco Rodriguez Vilchez as the club’s new coach.

The Andalusian coach, who replaces Jose Maria Salmeron, will take charge of the side until the end of the season and is tasked with turning around the club’s poor run of form and avoiding relegation.

Vilchez has managerial experience in LaLiga Santander having steered Almeria to safety in the final stages of the 2013/14 season. As a player he came through the ranks at Valencia before going on to play for Polideportivo Ejido, Almeria, Albacete, Granada 74, Alicante and Orihuela.
