The distance between LaLiga and the countries known as the Middle East is getting shorter. In part, by the success and competitiveness of the Spanish teams both in the Liga BBVA as in the international competitions and also greatly by the efforts of the institution to reach out to an audience that loves football and its stars.

My country, Bahrain, and others like Qatar, Saudi Arabia and Kuwait enjoy LaLiga every weekend, mainly following Real Madrid and FC Barcelona. It is normal to see shirts from both teams through the streets and enjoy the goals in the bars and restaurants of the city. Places to which "Laliga Lounge", the new project of Laliga to enjoy live football, will join in the coming months.

But regardless of the major geographic strategy that our territory represents, the Middle East provides a great source of fans that are hungry for sports information and is an ideal destination for great players like Raul and Xavi, who have moved here to enjoy their last experience in football.

The fans, mostly young, expect every week from the Liga BBVA a lot of goals, good plays and an extensive coverage that has also grown in recent months. The television programs with pundits and analyses and the minute by minute of every game are a big attraction for a country that was accustomed to foreign leagues and is becoming more interested in LaLiga.
