CD Leganés - Girona FC (4 pm, Butarque Municipal Stadium)
It is a time of opportunities for a Leganés who are fourteenth in the table thanks to their good play. They face an opposition who have made a great start to the season, and where Isaac Becerra and Felipe Sanchón have been pivotal to the success of their team.
To fight for victory, the Madrid side’s manager will be without four of his men: Sergio Prendes, Paco Candela, César Soriano and Carlos Delgado. Girona, meanwhile, unlike their opponents, have all of their squad available for selection.
RCD Mallorca - AD Alcorcón (4 pm, Iberostar Stadium)
The Bermellones are in their best form of the season, with a run of five wins on the trot in the 2014-15 campaign. They will look for their sixth victory against an Alcorcón who have recovered their identity: invincible at home, valiant away.
In addition to their good run, Valeri Karpin’s side are also free of injury. An Estonian manager, who does not want his side to be overconfident: "I hope nobody relaxes". José Bordalás, meanwhile, praised the good form of the Balearic side: "We're facing an opposition who are playing well and earning good results so it will be an attractive game".
CE Sabadell - R Valladolid CF (6 pm, Nova Creu Alta Stadium)
The Arlequinados will look to get back to winning ways after their recent stumble against CD Lugo. Their opposition this weekend is a Valladolid who are playing some attractive football and are positioned in the top part of the table.
The Sabadell manager, Miquel Olmo, believes that their moment has come. "It’s time to vindicate our style of play against Valladolid". The Blanquivioleta manager, meanwhile, analysed his opponents’ philosophy in the press conference leading up to the encounter: "Sabadell are a creative team that try to play from the back; they have good players and they’re also quick down the flanks".
FC Barcelona B- CD Numancia (6 pm, Miniestadi Stadium)
The Azulgranas, who have had an inconsistent start to the season, will attempt to find the stability they lack against a Numancia who have gradually improved, and who seem to have found their form in recent matches.
The home side are without Bagnack and Lucas, but Sandro and Munir return. Meanwhile, Juan Antonio Anquela will travel with a full squad.
D.Alavés - R. Sporting (6 pm, El Molinón Stadium)
Consistent teams that are difficult to beat. Alavés and Sporting will lock horns in Mendizorroza in an encounter with which the Vitoria side will want to continue their run of four games without losing. A bigger challenge will be to remain unbeaten for 13 matchdays on the trot.
The Blanquiazules’ manager is hopeful that there will be "a good footballing atmosphere, a nice match, like the old days". His counterpart, Abelardo, analysed his own side. "This is a team with a bright future; young lads who can keep improving".
At. Osasuna - SD Ponferradina (18:15, El Sadar Stadium)
Ponferradina travel to El Sadar looking for a victory five matchdays after their last win, against CD Mirandés on 11 October. Osasuna, however, will want their stadium to remain a fortress, having won their last two matches there.
The Rojillos’ captain, Miguel Flaño, spoke in the press conference. "They’re three points that will allow us to take a big step forward, as well as grow stronger as a group". The side from Bierzo will be without Camille, through injury, and Yuri, through suspension.
UD Las Palmas - CD Mirandés (6.30 pm, Gran Canaria Stadium)
The Canary Islanders, first in the Liga Adelante, will try to continue the good form that has kept them top of the table until now against a Mirandés who wil fight for their second away victory.
The home side’s manager, Paco Herrera, will be without Culio due to muscle problems, as well as centre back David García, through suspension, and Hernán, who is also recovering from an injury. Manager Carlos Terrazas spoke for the side from Burgos: "We have to show that we can be as solid away as we are at home".
