This morning, the LFP renewed its global agreement with Huawei for this season. The agreement involves the union of the LFPHuawei brands and will allow promotions in China, the Middle East and Latin America. The event took place at the LFP/Charm offices in Beijing, as part of the president, Javier Tebas, and the director of marketing, Adolfo Bara's two-day visit of China. The Chinese multinational, a leader in information technology and communication, has been an LFP sponsor since June 2013. The Huawei Consumer Business Group's director of Marketing and Communication, Jerry Huang, and the president of the LFP, Javier Tebas, showed their satisfaction at the new agreement.
Before the event with Huawei, LFP's president, Javier Tebas, and director of Marketing, Adolfo Bara, were welcomed to Beijing by Spain's ambassador to China, Manuel Valencia Alonso, on their second day of work in the Asian country. The event was attended by the President of the Government, Mariano Rajoy, members of the Diplomatic Corp and representatives of the leading Spanish companies in China.
Mariano Rajoy and Javier Tebas exchanged ideas on the schedules of Liga BBVA and Adelante matches. The president of the LFP explained that the LFP's intention for the schedules set "is to achieve greater exposure to Spanish football on the Asian market".
The LFP's visit to China also included a meeting with the general director of Chinese Central Television (CCTV5), Zheng Menghui. Javier Tebas was interested in the characteristics offered by the Chinese public television group, which includes 20 national and international television channels on cable, satellite and free-to-air as well as the programming on the differently themed channels and their international versions, which include one Spanish channel.
