The LaLiga Experience wraps up another edition amid the charms of Cadiz

Once again, the international broadcasters invited by LaLiga had the opportunity to experience a match in the best league in the world from the tribunes. The clash for this edition was Cadiz CF v Real Madrid, with the visitors taking home the three points thanks to goals by Nacho and Asensio. However, LaLiga is not just about football, and before the game they had the chance to enjoy a string of challenges, and also take in the wonders that make Cadiz such a special city.

The LaLiga Experience guests who were charmed by the Andalusian city included the Australian influencers Nicholas Stavos and Khanh Ong, accompanied by the journalist Michelle Escobar, courtesy of the broadcaster Optus Sport Australia. They were joined by the two winners of the LaLiga Clash contest organised by Eleven Sports Belgium, with the journalist Jordens Quinten in tow; and the Argentine comedian Luquita Rodriguez, along with the two winners of the ESPN Argentina contest held on its official Instagram page.

After the customary introductions on the opening day, the highlight of day two was the visit to Cadiz CF, who were the perfect hosts. First, the guests took a tour of the Estadio Nuevo Mirandilla, where they steeped themselves in the history of the club and chatted with the players Theo Bongonda, Alvaro Negredo and Alfonso ‘Pacha’ Espino. Next, they headed off to the Bahia de Cadiz training ground, where they met up with the women’s team and put their shooting skills to the test in a fun challenge called ‘The Roulette Goal’.

Tourism and local cuisine dominated day three of the LaLiga Experience, with a guided tour of the city’s most iconic attractions. Back at the hotel, they received a visit from Riquelme, Cadiz CF’s eSports player in eLaLiga, who Nicholas Stavos shared some laughs with while playing FIFA 2023. In the afternoon, they were treated to some live cooking to teach them how to make an authentic Spanish paella, shining a light on the culinary skills of Khanh Ong.

Finally, the matchday came and the guests were welcomed by the club legend Pepe Mejias, watched the teams warm-up from the side-lines, enjoyed the thrilling spectacle, and even had the opportunity to take some penalties out on the pitch after the game had ended.
